Food for your blog!

Social Media sites has became a window of opportunity for most of us to promote our blogs, let us be real it takes a lot of effort to market your blog.  So I have listed down the things I’ve learn for the past six months ever since I started incorporating my site seriously with my social media accounts and I started interacting with different bloggers all around the globe.

Most of my Favorite  Fashion Bloggers  have remained grounded all through out their blogging career and they never fail to engage with their readers.  I realize that  I may talk about my life, my personal experiences and more, but that what makes my blog stands out with all the great blogs in the blogosphere world is because it is REAL, it is TANGIBLE and it is what (1 million) or OTHER bloggers feels too.

So I have listed five things you should always remember to keep your blog interesting and your personality amiable by a lot of your readers.

BE POSITIVE.  If you haven’t seen the video documentary The Secret or even read the book or just browsed the quotes, then start googling it now.  I always keep my positivity on guard so that I wouldn’t feel inferior about other people.  I want others to feel the positive vibe and let them experience these different affirmative attraction to reach their own goals.

BE REAL.  I know most of us has our own favorite fashion blogs but when I started writing for myself and viewing other blogs, I started reading more on sites that contains what we call my side of REALITY.  I don’t want to view blogs that are over the top in style and brands because it is like reading another version of what I can see in glossy magazines.  I wanted to feel something personal in each writer.  I want to see them as who they are and not what fashion has dictate about them.  Yes they maybe fashionable but their stories are REAL and TRUE.

BE OPEN-MINDED.  Even though I always keep up a positive attitude but most of the time, you cannot really please everyone.   You should start being open-minded to everyone’s point of views.  Be flexible at times and remember that not all people would agree with your opinion and not all your favorite bloggers has the same ideals and characteristics you have in life.  Sometimes your favorite blogger may clash over your personal thoughts and ideas, so better yet just let go of the issue and don’t take it personally.   Be mature enough to handle these kind of things.

KNOW YOUR FLAWS.  Accept the REAL you, as what I have said we are not PERFECT.  We should be able to identify our flaws as a person before we pick on someone else.  Sometimes most of us would push things in our life because we want to fit in.   We should know the difference between REALITY and ILLUSION.

Last but not the least, MASTER YOUR LIMITATION.  As a blogger most of us wants to be recognized and wants to fit in.  The trends are constantly changing that is why we always try to go after what is in and hot.  Sad to say, some would go beyond their own capacity both financially and physically just to be ONE of those bloggers.  I’d say nothings beats the REAL you, I always remind myself of the very reason why I started blogging and that is to be ME.

Your choice as a blogger is unlimited, you can be somebody writing for this and that without knowing you will be the next internet sensation.  But all it takes to be part of something great in the social world and for you to gain fabulous readers is to start in small and humble beginnings.  Do not fast track to your success.  Be Patient my beloved bloggers.

wwwwwaaaaa….i love the foods in this blog!!! You are right bitch, we should be real and why pretend to be somebody we are not? Nobody is perfect so why deny and hide our flaws? It’s on how we accept our individual flaws that we can become a better person if only we know how to deal with our flaws and make them our own strengths instead of just saying “this is what I am”… We should also be open-minded especially knowing that each of us have different character, different attitude, different environmental influences and different upbringing which very much affects how we are as persons. Being real is what I always am and maybe this is the reason we “click” because we are real, we are open-minded and we have accepted other people’s flaws the same way we have accepted our own flaws. I should stop now. I feel like I’m already creating another blog in my comment…hahahahahhahhaha
